Gifts At the Altar

Math 5:23

Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;

Math 5:24

Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.Math  5:24

So many layers of spiritual meaning rest within these particular scriptures concerning our lives and how to access our spiritual power. I would like to speak to a particular layer that resonates with me. These scriptures speak about gifts, altars, and reconciliation.

Our gifts are our visions, dreams, and innate abilities. The Altar is our Heart, the seat of our being, and the core of our desires. The heart is the place  able to manifest our visions and dreams. Breathing life into them or causing them to become dreams deferred aborting them prematurely.

The special ingredient of the heart, that allows for the manifestation of our gift  is openness and receptivity which comes from clearing weight off our souls through Forgiveness. Bitterness and unforgiveness, create spiritual clots and excess heaviness in us that short circuit our ability to manifest our gifts. This foments a foul resonance frequency like the stench of trash and rotting waste that attracts negative entities to feed on and amplify our emptyness. Reconciliation and release in the area of our relationships clears these infestations and blockages

Pursuing reconciliation in our relationships and the practice of living a life of  release through forgiveness charges your heart’s energies in a way conducive to manifesting your gifts as a beautiful offering to all of creation. Forgiveness is a way of life. It involves engaging and releasing the negative energy of guilt, grudges and the negative memories & feelings that we’ve held.  Whether caused by our actions or those inflicted upon us by others. Especially forgiveness offered in circumstances were we feel forgiveness for ourselves and others is not merited. When Reconciliation is achieved and forgiveness given in these areas, it removes dead weight and the heavens assist us in making the dreams and visions of heart a living reality.

Keys to Altar of Mt. Heart Dreams

I spent the bulk of 2011 following were my spirit would lead me in terms of addressing people dear to me who I may have had issues with. Whether it was my parents, friends, or family, big issues or seemingly little  it was all the same. I was terribly shaken each time, as with each case the emotional tension was thick with apprehension. Each encounter was spirit lead and powerful though, when I had the faith to take the leap. As Tupac said, “I shed so many tears”. In some cases I was broken down to the fetal position, due to how much I was letting go. Sometimes it was just really smooth and peaceful conversations, but the effects were the same.  Weight like heavy immovable anchors lifted off the mountain of my heart. I felt the minimization of the frantic static energy in my life, improved relationship with my wife and family/friends. I rose in a higher frequency of confidence in my role in the universe, with each release and reconciled relationship. Ultimately though, the gifts in the form of my highest visions and dreams were more clearly manifest on the Altar of my Heart by the Holy Breath. In such a way that I have been able to take my time and unwrap them like an excited child.

    This is lovely Jamil…

    I have been sitting on reading this post for a while, since you shared it with me. Today it came that I needed to read it, as forgiveness has been something I have struggled with for years… my lifetime really.

    Anyhow, thank you for sharing your experience and for encouraging me to make “forgiveness a way of life.” Very powerful and pertinent.

    Thank you for sharing this Jamil. I too am struggling with reconciliation. I have been able to forgive those whom I perceived as hurting me in the past and in my heart have released them in love… but what do you do when they won’t forgive you, hold onto the past and continue to dump negative energies into your space ?

      Thanks for your response Tabitha my great Sister. That is a great question, one that came up at our gathering. We can only honor the light in ourselves by resolving our part in the relationship. There is no obligation in the spiritual science of that scripture that obligates us to coerce the other into reconciliation. We can only do and say what we need to clear our heart and minds conscience…The act places the other in a better position to see that they’re the only one holding the rope of neg karma concerning the issue of the relationship…Still their choice though, sometimes they aren’t ready and may not ever be in this lifetime…
